Jobs Roadmap Project

In December 2023 the new exciting project started that we are engaged in. Jobs Roadmap is addressing the critical issue of youth unemployment in Europe. In response to the persisting challenge our initiative aims to equip young individuals with the skills essential for the evolving job market.

The demand for ICT jobs is growing, with an 18% increase in employment since 2021. However, a shortage of skilled workers hampers meeting this demand, exacerbated by rapid technological change. Anticipating the future job market is crucial, as 85% of jobs in 2030 have not yet been created.

Our project addresses these challenges by focusing on training and skill development of young people in Europe, reducing unemployment risks, and guiding them toward fulfilling careers aligned with their interests and abilities. Our efforts will be devoted to supporting youth workers in guiding young individuals through the rapidly changing world of work.

Goals of the project

The project strives to:

  • Promote the employability of young people to overcome labor market mismatches.
  • Provide tools for youth workers to guide young people into the future.
  • Create a tool to identify skills needed for emerging jobs.
  • Encourage young people’s participation in monitoring developments in the world of work.

Target groups

Our direct target group comprises youth workers, trainers, and coaches. The indirect target group includes young people (18-24 years old) in partners’ local communities facing transitional challenges.

Join us in our efforts to empower young individuals, reduce unemployment risks, and contribute to sustainable growth and innovation in the evolving job market. Together, we navigate towards a future where every young person has the skills and guidance for a fulfilling career.
